Meet the Pastor
A Word from Pastor Williams
MCFBC strives to be a place where all people can find a connection to God and to other believers. We believe that the fellowship of our friendly people can be a refuge of encouragement and healing from the struggles of life. We want to be a part of your life support system in a world that is becoming increasingly more demanding, complicated, and uncertain.
At MCFBC we still believe that the timeless, unchanging truth of God’s Word has the capacity to change lives and bring meaning and purpose to everything we do. If you have come to realize that there is something missing in your life, no matter what you have tried to fill it with, come to Jesus. It would be our privilege to assist you on your spiritual journey.
We look forward to meeting you and having you worship with us.
In June 2012, Pastor Keith Williams and his wife Kathy came to serve the members of MCFBC and the people of the Wellsboro area.
Pastor and Kathy are both natives of western New York and were high school sweethearts. Pastor Williams received a B.S. in Pastoral Studies and Bible from Maranatha Baptist Bible College, and an M.S. from Heart of America Theological Seminary. Kathy is a graduate of Piedmont International University. They married in 1984 and have been serving the Lord together for over twenty years in ministries in Virginia, New York, and Guam.
The Lord has blessed the Williams with three children: Caitlin (married to Steve McKenzie), Jordan, and Kyle. They also have two grandsons- Philip and Theodore.
